Zbigniew Brzezynsky was the US National Security Advisor
in Jimmy Carter's administration, and now lectures
at Harvard University. His parents came from the
town of Zhowkwa which is near Lviv.
He visited Lviv to become an honoured citizen
of the city, to try to solve some of the hard
issues in the Polish/Ukrainian relations and to
move Ukraine and Poland closer to one another.
