This is the church of the Dominicans, built in 1772.
The architect's name was Jan De Vitt and he was a Dutch
fortification engineer in the service of the Polish
army. He also built several civil buildings in Lviv
in a combination of the Rocoque and Baroque styles.

The sign on the pediment says,
"God is our Honor and Glory."
This is the motto of the Dominicans. The building is now
used for church services and concerts of sacred music.
